A recent DOE report concluded that by 2025, Smart Grid technologies could cut U.S. electricity consumption by 10%-15%, cut peak power demands by 25%, and cut greenhouse gas emissions by 20%. And based on a report from Lux research, the Smart Grid market is expected to reach $65 billion in 2013.  The technology section – which includes smart metering hardware and software and networking technologies - is expected to reach $4.7 billion.  Join us for an interactive session with leading experts to understand what Smart Grid technologies are, what roles these technology utilities companies play in making the power grid smarter and how with the current downturn in the economy, these companies are growing and gaining attention.
